About the Role

We are in search of a Senior Analytics Engineer to enhance our data team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and key business stakeholders. You will be tasked with crafting and managing data models, setting and implementing analytics engineering best practices, and delivering valuable insights to stakeholders throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong SQL skills, experience with Python, dbt, data modeling, and either experience or a keen interest in blockchain technology. Twinstake employs a modern data stack including Airbyte, Airflow, Snowflake, dbt, and Quicksight.

• Data Modelling: Crafting scalable data models that convert complex datasets into meaningful insights, leveraging advanced SQL skills.
• Blockchain Expertise: Utilizing your blockchain knowledge, especially in staking and rewards, to develop metrics and track performance.
• Business Intelligence: Creating clear, persuasive dashboards using modern analytics tools to satisfy both technical and business requirements.
• Promoting Best Practices: Championing excellence in analytics engineering through code reviews, testing, documentation, and observability.
• Staying Informed: Staying abreast of emerging crypto protocols and technologies to ensure we lead in innovation.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as an analytics engineer or similar position, showcasing a portfolio of impactful applications.
• Expertise in SQL; familiarity with Python and dbt is an advantage.
• Experience with OLAP systems and data warehouses.
• Proficiency in building dashboards using BI tools.
• Background in mathematics, statistics, or engineering, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in the crypto industry, with deep insights into blockchain technology and staking mechanisms.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effective team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
