About the Role

We are searching for a skilled Blockchain Platform Engineer to design, deploy, manage, monitor, and maintain validator nodes across multiple blockchain networks. This role integrates Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and Platform Engineering, requiring expertise across these fields to establish a secure, scalable, and highly efficient infrastructure.

As a Blockchain Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will collaborate closely with internal teams (business, development, and modeling) and external stakeholders (clients and the blockchain community) to ensure Twinstake’s infrastructure functions smoothly and effectively. You will spearhead automation, ensure production-grade stability, and enhance platform efficiency. Additionally, you will be the point of contact for chain-specific updates, voting summaries, and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering and Automation: Design and implement production-grade systems and automate infrastructure processes to enhance efficiency and scalability across all blockchain operations.
• Validator Node Management: Research, design, deploy, and maintain validator nodes for various blockchain networks.
• Performance and Optimization: Ensure nodes meet performance objectives, optimizing for latency, transaction speed, and efficiency.
• Monitoring and Incident Response: Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Grafana, and participate in the on-call rotation to address incidents.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect the nodes and manage compliance for each chain.
• Upgrades and Forks: Prepare for and execute network upgrades and forks, coordinate with the community and stakeholders.
• Documentation: Maintain current documentation for each chain and communicate key updates to internal and external teams.
• Collaboration: Serve as the internal contact for chain-specific expertise, closely working with business, customer, development, and modeling teams.
• Community Engagement: Represent Twinstake at blockchain community events and conferences.
• Cost Management: Optimize infrastructure costs while balancing performance and scalability.

What You Bring

• Proven experience managing blockchain nodes (validators, RPC nodes) on networks such as Ethereum, Solana, or Cosmos
• Strong understanding of blockchain protocols, security best practices, and performance optimization
• Proficiency in designing and implementing production-grade infrastructure and platform solutions, with a focus on automation and efficiency
• Ability to write production-ready code for system automation and tooling
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform, Ansible, and monitoring tools like Grafana
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP), on-premises, and bare metal infrastructure
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues
• Team player with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to share knowledge
