Community Manager Role:

We're on the lookout for a passionate and skilled community manager to join the Risk Labs team. In this role, you'll act as the bridge (pun intended) between our core team and the vibrant communities of both UMA and Across. You'll be pivotal in building and nurturing a robust, engaged community of users, developers, and enthusiasts revolving around UMA and Across.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in the blockchain space, contributing to the success of groundbreaking interoperability and oracle solutions. You will be a vital member of our marketing team, aiming to create a positive, responsive, and engaging environment for both new and existing community members and users.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the functionality and moderation of community platforms to create welcoming and productive environments for users.
• Maintain a strong user support presence, facilitating swift communication and resolutions between the company and the community.
• Organize and host online community events such as quests, community calls, AMAs, and more to enhance community engagement and brand awareness.
• Lead community growth campaigns across social media platforms to attract new members and boost brand recognition.
• Engage with users across various platforms and partner communities to encourage customer adoption, loyalty, and advocacy actively.
• Manage and support community moderation teams, technical support teams, verification teams, and other community engagement contributors for efficient operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, social media management, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of related full-time work experience required, with 2+ years of admin experience managing messaging platforms like Discord or Telegram.
• Experience leading community-based moderators or similar leadership roles.
• Deep understanding of DAO culture, governance processes, and DAO tooling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong resourcefulness and attention to detail.
• Ability to showcase infectious positive energy, empathetic attitude, and kindness.
• Familiarity with DeFi, interop solutions, oracles, prediction markets, and related blockchain technologies is a significant plus.

Discord, Telegram, X, Hey (Lenster), Farcaster, Medium, YouTube, Forum, Snapshot, Galxe, Mailchimp, and growing.

Compensation:

$50,000 - $90,000 a year
