The Role

As a Data Analyst at BOB, you will spearhead quantitative insights to guide and shape decisions at BOB. Your primary responsibilities include analyzing various on- and off-chain data sources, creating and tracking KPIs, and identifying trends with a profound product understanding. You will collaborate closely with product, business, and marketing teams to formulate hypotheses and deliver actionable recommendations, focusing on DeFi on BOB.

What You Will Do

• Product Metrics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, including channel performance, user activation and retention, Total Value Locked (TVL), trading volume, and other KPIs.
• Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends within the Bitcoin and DeFi ecosystem.
• Identify DeFi Opportunities: Regularly prepare and update reports on investment opportunities on BOB for our institutional partners.
• Data Infrastructure: Collaborate with the engineering team to design and build foundational data systems, including ETLs, dashboards, and analytics, to drive data-driven decision-making and support scalable business growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading complex analytical projects from concept to completion, particularly within web3 environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python through your experience as a business or data analyst or other quant-related positions.
• Deep understanding of DeFi, including protocols, block explorers, and data sources.
• Eagerness to enhance products through rapid experimentation, A/B testing, and a data-driven approach.
• Comfortable working in a results-oriented, fast-paced startup environment.
