Caldera empowers dynamic, scalable blockchain experiences. Currently, dapps deployed to general-purpose blockchains compete with thousands of other applications for network space, causing congestion, high fees, or even outages. This is where we step in. We’re developing software that enables the most innovative blockchain applications to launch their own high-performance blockchains (rollups), allowing applications to own their ecosystem, scale to millions of users, and deliver a superior experience to users. Responsibilities

As a Developer Relations Engineer at Caldera, you will:

• Serve as the primary technical contact between Caldera and developers on our platform.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, and implementation guides for Caldera chains.
• Collaborate closely with the business development team to support customer onboarding and integration.
• Triage technical support requests, offering direct assistance for basic queries and coordinating with engineering for complex issues.
• Monitor and respond to developer inquiries regarding rollup implementation and best practices.
• Collect and synthesize developer feedback to inform product enhancements.
• Represent Caldera at developer-focused events and conferences.
• Craft technical content that showcases the benefits of Caldera’s products.

You Might Be a Fit for This Role If You...

• Have 2+ years of experience in developer relations, technical writing, or developer support roles.
• Possess hands-on experience with blockchain technology, particularly Layer 2 scaling solutions.
• Are excellent at articulating complex technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal communication.
• Have experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Excel at building relationships with technical stakeholders.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and quickly understand and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Are comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.

Bonus Points

• Have direct experience with rollup technology (e.g., OP Stack, Arbitrum, zkSync).
• Have contributed to open-source projects, especially in the blockchain ecosystem.
• Have experience with Solidity and EVM-compatible chains.
• Have built or supported developers working on blockchain applications.
• Have public speaking experience at technical conferences or events.
• Have experience managing developer communities or programs.
