What You’ll Do
- Conduct In-depth Research: Dive into Ethereum R&D subjects, including interoperability, scaling solutions, Ethereum standards (e.g., ERCs/EIPs), staking, MEV, DeFi protocols, privacy, and user experience (UX).
- Technical Writing: Craft detailed reports, articles, and content that make highly complex research accessible and practical for varied audiences, including investors, builders, stakeholders, and the general Ethereum community.
- Due Diligence: Evaluate blockchain protocols by assessing infrastructure and architecture, presenting findings in meticulous, technical documentation.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of Ethereum’s development roadmap and provide insights and thought leadership in pivotal areas of innovation.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams to produce high-quality content across platforms such as whitepapers, blog posts, and research presentations.
- Community Engagement: Interact with the Ethereum community, including developers and researchers, to stay informed and participate in influential discussions shaping the ecosystem.
What We’re Looking For
- Blockchain Expertise: Strong familiarity with Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain architectures, protocol designs, and the innovations at the application/infrastructure layer.
- Technical Writing Skills: Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for both expert and non-expert audiences.
- Research Skills: Capable of conducting thorough, independent research to synthesize technical information into actionable insights.
- Due Diligence Experience: Knowledgeable in evaluating blockchain protocols and projects, assessing infrastructure, architecture, and operational dynamics.
- Analytical Mindset: Critical thinker who can identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within Ethereum’s ecosystem.
- Fast Learner: Able to quickly grasp complex topics and work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Competent in writing detailed research about complex ideas in a way that is clear, cohesive, accurate, and understandable to a broad audience.
