GFX Labs comprises two distinct divisions. Our core division focuses on Oku, our all-encompassing DeFi application. We have partnered with the Uniswap DAO, the leading decentralized exchange, and recently announced a collaboration with Morpho to integrate borrowing and lending into Oku.

Our second division is dedicated to research and development, encompassing various fields such as analyzing the economic security of on-chain financial mechanisms, designing user experiences, and indexing data for integration into existing products. About the Role

As a Frontend Engineer at GFX Labs, you will collaborate with our engineering team to construct user interfaces for cross-chain applications within the Wormhole ecosystem. This role is an excellent opportunity to delve into blockchain development while applying your frontend expertise to design captivating user experiences.

You will contribute to developing and maintaining web applications that facilitate user interactions across multiple blockchain networks through Wormhole. Working closely with senior engineers, you will gain hands-on experience with both modern web development practices and blockchain-specific challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design responsive user interfaces utilizing React and other modern web technologies.
• Produce clean, maintainable code adhering to team standards and best practices.
• Cooperate with senior engineers to incorporate wallet connectivity and on-chain interactions.
• Assist in testing and debugging cross-chain applications.
• Acquire and apply blockchain development concepts to enhance user experiences.

We are headquartered in Chicago and primarily seek team members in Chicago. Only candidates based in North America will be considered, with a strong preference for Chicago applicants. A relocation bonus is available for Americans willing to move to Chicago.
