Job Overview

Genius is searching for a senior Front-End Developer with extensive experience in Next JS, Tailwind, and React Native to create beautiful, pixel-perfect experiences for our end users. We are extremely detail-oriented and expect you to be as well.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize user-centric interfaces for Genius’ cross-chain trading platform, focusing on seamless user experience and intuitive design. Builds must be pixel-perfect and 100% design accurate.
• Collaborate with backend and smart contract teams to integrate frontend components with Genius’ proprietary Synchronous Liquid Matching engine and liquidity management system.
• Build modular, reusable, and performant components using Next JS and Tailwind (primary stack). Our current Native Apps primarily utilize React Native’s webview. Even if you’re not an expert in React Native, familiarity is encouraged.
• Implement responsive designs that adapt to various devices and screen sizes.
• Manage a junior developer.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with Genius’ brand and design guidelines in a meticulous and detail-oriented manner.
• Optimize frontend code and implement NextJS best practices to achieve a Lighthouse score of 90+.

Non-Negotiables:

• Extremely driven to take high ownership and work diligently with the team, approximately 60 hours per week.
• Have a deep understanding of the psychology of an on-chain trader and a passion for mainstream adoption.
• Detail-oriented to an extreme degree.

Core Competencies:

• Advanced proficiency with Next.js, Tailwind, Node.js, and Postgres.
• Familiarity with React Native.
• Extensive experience building responsive, modular, and maintainable code.
• Experience with Fintech and DeFi UX.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to rapidly deliver high-quality products.
