Job Description

About Us

LinkPool is a foremost validator, oracle provider, infrastructure service, and ecosystem developer within the Chainlink ecosystem and the broader Web3 industry. Since 2017, LinkPool has been pioneering modern infrastructure tools, setting the standard, and helping build an industry that shapes how agreements are formed and settled across various sectors. As one of the largest Chainlink Node Operators since its launch in 2019, LinkPool is uniquely positioned to collaborate with and operate across numerous networks, projects, and teams to enhance knowledge and propel the ecosystem forward. LinkPool operates as a global, fully remote team.

The Role

Join our dedicated team as a Site Reliability Engineer at LinkPool, where you'll play a key role in managing, supporting, and enhancing our infrastructure. Collaborate closely with our engineering and business teams to oversee the deployment and dependability of new network implementations. You will act as a "client-facing" liaison for projects in collaboration, taking strong ownership of the stack and driving improvements in our infrastructure management practices.

Your responsibilities encompass our entire infrastructure stack: creating and maintaining Chainlink nodes, blockchain full nodes, validators, monitoring stacks, and Kubernetes cluster setups. Additionally, you will support our product engineering teams that develop pioneering liquid staking products like stake.link, and oversee new product iterations on evolving chains and services.

LinkPool’s infrastructure is entirely containerized and colocated with hardware that we exclusively manage. This unique opportunity allows you to utilize cutting-edge tools on proprietary infrastructure without the complexities of cloud pricing.

  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus.
  • Familiar with Loki and Thanos.
  • Eager and capable of rapidly learning new technologies.
  • Highly motivated with a self-reliant work ethic.
  • Proficient in collaborating closely with engineers both within and outside your team.

  • Experience working with Blockchain Full Nodes, particularly Ethereum-based clients (Execution and Beacon Chain), Cosmos SDK clients, OP stack, and Solana.
  • Technical understanding of Ethereum, Solidity, and Chainlink.
  • Familiarity with the current DeFi landscape.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation available in Fiat and/or Tokens.
  • A remote-first work environment.
  • Flexible working hours and vacation policy.
  • Join a rapidly growing team with advancement opportunities and the potential for a long-term role.
  • The products and services you help develop will have significant visibility across numerous blockchain networks.
  • Work closely with other industry-leading teams on high-impact projects.

If you seek a role with an experienced team of top-tier professionals without excessive bureaucracy, providing clear ownership while utilizing the latest tools and technologies, this position is ideal for you.
