The Role:

IFT is in search of a technically adept and entrepreneurial Head of Investor Engagement & Fundraising to be part of our entirely remote, worldwide team. This role is pivotal in cultivating new relationships with stakeholders and the community across the Web3 ecosystem and beyond. It presents an exciting chance to influence the future trajectory of IFT, which operates as a blockchain venture studio encompassing numerous Web3 infrastructure projects. We seek an individual capable of enhancing and executing our fundraising strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in Web3 technology, a profound understanding of the investment landscape, and a proven record of engaging successfully with investors in emerging industries. As the Head of Investor Engagement & Fundraising, you will join a well-capitalized, Web3 startup in its growth phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive investor engagement strategy aligning with the project goals and objectives of our Co-founders and various teams.
• Actively seek and sustain relationships with investors, including community members, venture capital firms (traditional & crypto), investors, and high net worth individuals.
• Build investor confidence and belief in IFT’s mission and strategy through personal ideological alignment and a robust understanding of our diverse projects and teams.
• Communicate the company’s financial and business performance, progress towards milestones, and future plans to investors and stakeholders.
• Serve as a contact point for investor inquiries and coordinate investor events such as earnings calls and analyst days, alongside Co-founders.
• Collaborate with Co-founders and leadership team members to maintain consistent messaging and transparent communication with investors and core contributors.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in investor relations within the Web3 ecosystem.

What You Bring:

• Experience and a passion for Web3, appreciating its potential for global change.
• A strong alignment with our ideology and core principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investor relations, focusing on the Web3 ecosystem.
• Solid grasp of the investment landscape and experience in-house with growth-stage startups/scaleups.
• Deep familiarity with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, crafting engaging and impactful messages to inspire communities and investors.
• Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a blend of finance, marketing, and communication expertise.
• Proven success in managing investor relations programs.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with open source organizations.
• Background in Computer Science.
• A passion for Network States.

Compensation

The expected remuneration for this role is $150,000 - $190,000 USD per year (negotiable, dependent on assessing your skills and experience throughout the interview process). The role includes performance-based bonus incentives. We are amenable to compensation in any mix of fiat/crypto.
